Primary Cam Chain Tensioner for Harley Twin Cam 1999–2006 – Replaces OEM 39954-99A

This primary cam chain tensioner is designed for Harley-Davidson Twin Cam engines using the factory cam chain system.

The primary tensioner controls cam chain slack at the front cam chain position, helping maintain correct cam timing and reduce internal wear. Worn primary cam chain tensioners are a known service item on early Twin Cam engines and should be replaced during cam chest inspection or service.

Designed for Twin Cam models from 1999 through 2006, this tensioner is intended for stock-style cam chest configurations. This application fits all listed Twin Cam models except 2006 Dyna.
